Last time we discussed people with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men. So what are mortal men supposed to do? They adapt as these ten characters have done. This time I am calling out the heroes rather than the specific skills.
Batman
Yeah who else would be first? No matter how many different variations of the character we get, there is always one thing in common. Batman has some really cool toys! Going over them all would require another list but from his utility belt to his batmobile, Batman uses every tool he can think up to continue his war against crime.
Hawkman & Hawkwoman
I always preferred the more modern Thanagarian space cop version to the ancient Egyptian reincarnated stuff from the golden age. Either way, Hawkman can fly with his wings and has some pretty cool weapons including a mace.
Green Arrow/Hawkeye
Put these together for obvious reasons. They both have the same skill-archery. Of course there not just good with a bow, they are amazing. I can’t lie I never really knew much about Hawkeye until the first Avengers movie. So I am not sure how different they are as characters. Yeah a bow isn’t exactly high tech but it still works.
Green Lantern
I really wanted to put them on the other list. But when you get right down to it, it’s technology that the Green Lantern’s use. Very unusual tech, unless you don’t consider a ring that create constructs out of anything the wearer imagines as unusual. But it is technically technology. And as I’ve noted I loved Green Lantern growing up.
Iron Man
I talked before about how Iron Man was one of the Marvel characters that got my attention. Not because he was such a rich character, but because that suit he uses is awesome! As a character Tony Stark is pretty flawed. The movies’ really showed my what a tech wizard he really is.
Cyborg
You could argue Cyborg is a cheat, since he hardly invented the exo suit he wears. It was the result of an accident that destroys half his body. But he still technically wasn’t born with the powers nor are they in any way natural so it still counts. Cyborg is awesome with his million things he can do
Atom/Ant Man & the Wasp
Again I paired these two up because they basically have the same abilities. Ray Palmer is a physicist who created a size changing belt that allows him to shrink down incredibly small. Hank Pym is a biochemist who created a liquid that causes him and his girlfriend Janet Van Dyne to shrink to the size of a, well, wasp and ant man.

Huntress
Huntress is awesome because of how she found different ways to fight crime than Batman. I mentioned Batman has all kinds of cool gadgets, but very rarely do you see him use a crossbow!
booster gold
Booster Gold used technology he stole from the 25th century to create his super suit. The stolen technology included a Legion flight ring and a little ally called Skeets.
By the way the Legion of Superheroes have their own power set with their crazy roster. Discussing them would have be its own article!
Blue Beetle
Ok I’ve gone on and on about how much I loved Ted Kord so suffice to say, he was a tech wizard. Not only creating his tools for crime fighting, like a big bug to travel in, but even helping other heroes out like Booster Gold when he needed his suit repaired. And yes while not the tech wizard Kord was, with both Dan Garrett and Jaime Reyes it was alien technology that made them heroes.
Did I miss any you think deserved a mention? Comment and let me know
