As you can imagine, a lot of obvious choices will be missing here. So comment below and let me know what I missed.
Lord of the Rings
Even I know this one. The Flame of the West is just awesome. Mostly because it was the ultimate badass, Aragorn, using it.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
While most people think of their judo moves but the used lots of weapons too. And the Twin Katana’s are pretty awesome.
Deadpool
Speaking of Katana’s, Deadpool really rocks his.
Wonder Woman
Ok not so in the comics, but let’s be honest Diana was pretty badass wielding that God Killer.
Voltron
You’d think it would be enough to have five lion vehicles combine into a massive robot. But nope, he needs a sword too. The best part of the Blazing Sword is where it comes from. His hands touch each other and forms it. Cool!
Star Wars
A lightsaber isn’t a sword? Whatever I’m counting it. The best action scenes from these movies are always the sword fights, even the original trilogy.
King Arthur
What would the legend of King Arthur be without this one? The legend of Excalibur is one of the most famous legends out there. It's appeared in a million movies and with good reason. Some good (Camelot), others not so much (A Kid in King Arthur’s Court). Even Disney did a take with “Sword and the Stone”.
Zorro!
Ah the sword of Zorro. Nothing fancy, but it just shows it isn’t the blade so much as who wields it! Zorro!!!
Thundercats
The Sword of Omens isn’t as famous as He-Man’s…but it’s still pretty damn badass.
He-Man
I can’t tell how many times as a kid I’d hold up a bat or something and yell “By the Power of Greyskull!”. The sword didn’t do much, even She-Ra’s had more uses, but man did we love it anyway.
TONS I left off including The Hattori Hanzo from Kill Bill, The Norrington Sword from Pirates of the Carribean and all the sword wielders from a little show called Game of Thrones.
