I mean I’m not saying it’s bad advice but there are few other issues. Why are the kids out so late? Why didn’t they stop before crossing the intersection? Where are the stop signs or a warning light? How could they not see the car coming with headlights? Why was Dusty going so fast? Doesn’t he know it’d be his fault for hitting the kids? Was his vehicle damaged? And of course, why weren’t the kids wearing any helmets???
Then you can mention the reflectors.
