So since I teased it last time, let’s discuss crossover’s. There are actually quite a few of them, some involving a guest reviewer on NC and others where NC would appear on someone else’s show. Crossover’s can be hit or miss, especially the one’s where Doug Walker did not do the primary writing. It feels like it was written by someone else. Course there were a slew of them before the NC “retired” and most of those weren’t very good.
I decided to approach this a different way, and list the best reviewers he has done crossover’s with. This was to cover a wider area and leave less off. A few rules, These are actual crossover’s not just cameo’s from other reviewers. And no anniversary movies count here, just straight up crossover’s.
#10.CR
CR was one of those reviewers that flew under my radar, and I had never heard of this until Nostalgia Critic referenced it in another video. So I watched the “Baby Doll” review and it was really good. It felt very natural and it was well done. Best pic I could find.
#9.Last Angry Geek
This was a tough slot to fill, it was either this or the Blockbuster Buster. These two have a great chemistry and I like that NC actually contributed to the review rather than just, be there. Like when LAG did a crossover with Linkara.
#8.Mike J
They only did one crossoevr but the Ghost Rider 2:Spirit of Vengeance review is one of my favorite reviews. It’s got some great jokes and the mix of NC and a Bristish guy works very well.
#7.Nostalgia Chick
Nostalgia Critic’s first crossover was appopriately with the Nostalgia Chick. I think this was my introductin to her, but I’m really not sure. This such a great review with the two bouncing off each flawlessly. Too bad the same can’t be sad for the second and final collaboration on the Chipmunk Adventure. It was ok but not as good. Wait….I am forgetting one…

Ok Ok this is a cheat since Notalgia Chick is here, but I couldn’t possibly not mention this one. Moulin Rouge is a fantastic review, in fact at one time I didn’t even consider it a normal NC because it was so big. Of course eventually that would be more the norm. Why do I give him his own slot? Because I had no idea who he was before this, and still enjoyed him here. Unlike other unknowns he has done reviews with, like Black Nerd.
#6.Angry Joe
Not really and Angry Joe fan. Not because I dislike him, I dislike what he reviews. Video games? yawn. But the Man of Steel and Batman V Superman reviews are excellent and I have to give credit where credit is due.
#5.Paw/Oancitizan
This one is kind of weird since they only did the one review. But the Les Miserables reviews was great, though not as good as the Moulin Rougue review.
#4.Obscurus Lupa
There is a lot to be said here but I will avoid the controversy and just say that the two reviews they did were great. Simon Sez and A Talking Cat ?!? are among my favorite reviews. You wouldn’t think but these two have a great chemistry with each other.
#3.AVGN
Again, I had no idea who this guy was. Most people came to NC through AVGN, but for me it’s the opposite. I have no interest in video games and the wole brawl thing was really lame. But I like their reviews, all Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles related. Especially the review on the first TMNT movie (er, the CGI one) which is a great review. And AVGN has grown on me, a bit. Yes Black Nerd was in their last one but I still can’t say I like him that much.
#2.Spoony & Linkara
This is a cheat since I am counting Linkara and Spoony together as one and separately. It took me a long time to appreciate the Alone in the Dark review. First, NC doesn’t talk in it. Then, I didn’t know who Linkara or Spoony were. And when I did, I am not the biggest Spoony fan. But this crossover is still fun to watch and it’s a nice look at Channel Awesome in a simpler time. They would all reunite for the BloodRayne review which was, ok. Linkara also did Superman IV and Star Trek:Insurrection with NC and they are both fantastic.
#1.Cinema Snob
As I said, most of NC’s crossovers where the others did the writing aren’t that good. Take the Wiz review which was clearly written by Todd in the Shadows, since NC hardly says anything it seems. How about the Blockbuster Buster’s crossover about Transformers IV where NC looks bored through parts of it? But the one combination that always seems to work is this one. They did Leprechaun, Sharknado, Passion of the Christ and a Christmas review and all of them were great. They get along so well and Snob has appeared numerous times in cameos on NC.
Lots I left off. Film Brain, Sage, That SciFi Guy, Diamanda Hagan, and Phelous with the Child’s Play reviews. Did I miss your favorite? Comment and let me know.
